Lake of Sainte Croix*

of Sainte-Croix. With an area of ​​2,200 hectares (10 km long and 2 km wide), this artificial lake is a dam, built at the entrance to the gorges, near Baudinard. It retains 760 million cubic meters of water and produces more than 150 million kWh per year. It thus supplies electricity to nearby towns.
